Pastor Ezra Kim
Thank you for visiting the website of Bible Vaccine Center America.
God has given me a special calling three times in my life so far.
The first calling I received from God was to be a pastor. I was born in Korea and grew up in the Presbyterian Church. Ever since I was a child, my prayer has always been, “Give me a heart to love lost souls.” Then, one day when I was working in a bank in South Korea, God gave me the call of a pastor to lead lost souls to the Lord. A few years later, in 2009, I quit my long career, moved to the US, and became a pastor after completing my M.Div. at Talbot Theological Seminary.
The second calling God gave me was the call to plant a church. After I was ordained, I served as an associate pastor at Orange Canaan Presbyterian Church, located in Santa Ana, California in the United States. But one day in 2017, I read a newspaper article. The article said that only 10 percent of people in Los Angeles and Orange County are Christians, and only 1 percent are Christians who pray and read the Word of God regularly. From the day I read that article, God poured in me a sorrow for the lost souls in my area. That’s when I started Wind of Life Church in Whittier, California in January 2018.
The third calling God gave me was to minister to souls who had fallen into cults. At the beginning of 2020, two years after I started my church, the pandemic hit the world. In February 2020, when everyone was feeling the high tension due to the virus, a Covid infection suddenly occurred in a cult group called Shincheonji in South Korea, and after that incident, the number of confirmed cases in South Korea began to increase rapidly. The incident was big news, and countless articles about Shincheonji appeared in Korea and around the world. One day, when I was reading such articles, God made me wonder, “Is there a lot of Shincheonji activity in the United States?” However, no matter how much I searched on the Internet, I couldn’t confirm the exact activities of Shincheonji, and there was no place to ask. About a month later, I read the testimony of a former Shincheonji member in LA on a Reddit site called “Shincheonji” that was set up by former Shincheonji members. The ex-member’s testimony included a cry: “If anyone can help, please save my girlfriend and her family who are still in Shincheonji.” At that moment, I felt so sorry for that soul and tears welled up in my eyes. So I sat alone in my room for 30 minutes, crying and praying to bring the family back to Jesus. And that’s when God gave me a calling to save souls who had fallen into cults.
It is our fervent hope that the Bible Vaccine Center America will lovingly rescue souls who have fallen into cults, help them recover and return to Jesus Christ after withdrawal, provide families with a way out of the dark tunnel, and serve as a vaccine to prevent the virus of cults in our faith and to provide the correct truths of the Word of God.

Pastor Hyung-joo Yang
When Pastor Yang was first appointed as the senior pastor of a local church, he heard surprising news from the church members. Before his appointment, one of the pastors resigned from the church and shortly fell into one of the major cults, the S group. The pastor had a pleasant personality and was in frequent contact with the church members and won their hearts. What was even more surprising was that even after he fell into the S group, he kept in touch with church members, slandering the church and inviting them to new Bible study groups. And there were quite a few church members who participated in the S group’s Bible study group. Then Pastor Yang heard about something that had happened in the youth department of the church. Before, 20~30 people gathered in the young adult department, but at that time, they were all scattered and there was no one left. The department had been disbanded. As it turned out, the young adult department leader had fallen into the S group, and after that, the young adults began to gossip, harshly and falsely accusing the church and its leaders. When the young adult members heard the leader’s story, they were shocked and began to leave the church one by one, until there was no one left. Even some of the members were invited by the department leader to go to the S group. As it turned out, the church as a whole was slowly being stained by the attacks of the S group. Since then, Pastor Yang has studied cults for more than a decade after experiencing the seriousness of cult infiltration in the church through various ministries. He has also been a pastor and professor of New Testament studies, teaching orthodox doctrine to counter cults and erroneous teachings, and correct interpretation of Scripture.
In an era of turmoil that misleads believers by distorting the truth, Pastor Yang established the Bible Vaccine Center in 2020 through ministries such as research, education, prevention, and counseling to help the Korean church cultivate holy resistance based on the right truth. The Bible Vaccine Center is responsible for raising the next generation of young ministers and young leaders, as well as preparing for healthy church ministry by guiding churches and pastors to the right Word. In addition to this, it is also responsible for the cult counseling ministry that helps the Korean church and the churches of the nations to stand on the right truth so that they will not be deceived by false doctrine. In order to provide professional and intensive ministry in this regard, the Bible Vaccine Cult Counseling Center, an affiliated organization of the Bible Vaccine center, was established.
Pastor Yang is currently serving as the Senior Pastor of Daejeon Doan Church, and as of 2023, he is the author of nearly 25 books, including Shincheonji Vaccine 1 and 2, Friendly Answers to Shincheonji Sudden Questions, and Bible Vaccine 1 and 2.

Pastor Hyoun-ook Shin
Pastor Shin was a young man in his 20s who attended a church. However, it happened that the senior pastor of that church was learning the Bible from the cult leader Lee Man-hee and secretly teaching the Book of Revelation to the church members. All the members were slowly brainwashed over the course of a year, not knowing that what the senior pastor was teaching was Shincheonji’s Book of Revelation, and eventually the church signboard was changed to Shincheonji.
Due to that incident, Pastor Shin joined Shincheonji in 1986, which was two years after Shincheonji was established in 1984. At that time, Shincheonji had less than 500 members. In Shincheonji, Pastor Shin went on to become a young adult leader and a seminary instructor, and in 1992, he planted the Shincheonji church, the New Light Church, and worked as one of the seven educators who taught doctrines to all Shincheonji members. Then, in November 2006, by the grace of God, he came out of Shincheonji.
After leaving Shincheonji, he confirmed and revealed that all the realities taught by Shincheonji were fictional and false, and he received God’s call and entered the path of ministry. After completing his M.Div. at the Chongshin Theological Seminary in Korea, he was ordained and became a pastor by the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church in Korea. Pastor Shin is currently serving the Chodae Church in Guri, Korea, and runs the Guri Cult Counseling Center, a counseling center specializing in Shincheonji.
Having stayed within Shincheonji for more than 20 years, he has a complete understanding of all of their doctrines. HIs understanding is clearer than anyone else’s about where their doctrines are biblically erroneous. Since leaving Shincheonji, he has been rescuing members for the souls in Shincheonji, and he has been carrying out continuous preventive activities to prevent Korean churches and believers from falling into Shincheonji.

Pastor Namguey Gwon
One day in 1993, Pastor Gwon was reading a Bible in the subway station while waiting to meet a friend. Then a man approached the pastor and asked if he could sit next to the pastor for a while. Since the man introduced himself as a deacon in a Presbyterian church, the pastor began to talk to him casually and without any caution, thinking that he had met a brother in Christ.
He praised the pastor for reading the Bible and then asked this question.
“In the Psalms, it is said that the word of God is sweeter than honey, and there is also the lyrics of a hymn that says that the word is sweet and subtle, but when you read the Bible so earnestly, do you experience the words like honey every day?”
When asked about it, Pastor Gwon said, “Yes, of course, the words that I understand when I read the Bible are like honey, but sometimes when I read the Bible, I read it compulsorily, and when I encounter difficult passages, I don’t understand them, so I feel frustrated, curious, and embarrassed.”
Then the deacon found each passage of the Gospel of John that he had memorized and showed Pastor Gwon the words and explained them in a “logical” way. And Pastor Gwon, who was so impressed with him, eventually began to fellowship with him and even went to a Bible study led by him, which was none other than the free Bible Seminary run by Shincheonji.
The pastor, who graduated from Shincheonji Seminary in 1993, planted Shincheonji Geumcheon Church in 1996 and worked as a senior instructor for a long time until he left Shincheonji in 2006 by the grace of God. After completing his M.Div. at Busan Presbyterian Theological Seminary, he became the pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Korea and planted the Connect Church in Busan. In addition, many souls are escaping from cults through the Connect Counseling Center that Pastor Gwon is currently running with the church.
Pastor Gwon, who personally experienced the deception of Shincheonji and was in the position of teaching the doctrine to the members for a long time, now realizes the reality of the doctrine and the reality of the deception, and earnestly prays and serves that even the last soul who has fallen into a cult can receive life and freedom through Jesus Christ and return to the arms of his beloved family.
